Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren accused the BJP of undermining the judiciary, expressing his views after meeting Congress leader Sonia Gandhi at her residence in Delhi's 10 Janpath. Soren highlighted concerns over the treatment of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, currently in judicial custody related to the excise policy case, and hoped for his early release.
Soren, speaking to reporters, emphasized the need for justice and fair treatment in political affairs, stating, "Indians are very tolerant and cooperative. They tolerate a lot until they cannot and then they make themselves heard by voting." He pointedly criticized the BJP, stating, "The BJP has humiliated the judiciary. I hope Arvind Kejriwal will be granted bail soon."
